This Sunday
You do not have to have everything figured out before you come. We gather as a small church family to worship Jesus, open Scripture, pray, and share life together.
Sunday School & Fellowship
2:00 PM
Learning and sharing life together before worship.
Worship Service
3:00 PM
Singing, prayer, Scripture, and the table.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. You do not need to dress up to be welcomed here.
Kids
Kids are welcome. We are a church family, and we want children to know they belong too.

First Time?
Visiting a church can feel uncertain. You may wonder where to go, what to wear, whether your kids will be okay, or if anyone will notice you. We want Bulverde Chapel to feel simple, sincere, and welcoming from the moment you arrive.
Known and Loved
From the moment you arrive, you will be greeted with genuine warmth. No pressure, just friendship.
Simple and Sacred
We sing together — simple songs focused on praising God, not performing for an audience.
Scripture and Conversation
Our gatherings are participatory. We discuss Scripture together, ask questions, and learn as a family.
Around the Table
Much of Jesus’ ministry happened around a table. We share meals, stories, and life together. You have a seat here.
Sacred & Belonging
We believe church should feel like something sacred is happening here—and like there is a place for you in it. Bulverde Chapel is shaped by Scripture, prayer, worship, fellowship, and the simple life of the church we see in Acts.
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

What are you continuing to hold onto that God has already brought down? In this sermon, we trace one spiritual pattern through three biblical stories: Israel treating the Ark of the Covenant like a weapon, the Philistines propping up the defeated idol Dagon, and Saul placing his own judgment above God’s Word. These stories confront us with a personal question: Who gets the final word in your life—God, your idols, or yourself? Discover how religious appearances, partial obedience, personal ambition, and self-rule can become forms of idolatry—and why the kingdom of God alone will stand forever. Key passages: 1 Samuel 4–5, 1 Samuel 15, 1 Chronicles 10:13–14, Daniel 2 #Sermon #Idolatry #Dagon #KingSaul #ArkOfTheCovenant #BibleTeaching #ChristianSermon

God is using The Barn to bring the Bulverde and Spring Branch community together. It hosts worship, fellowship, Sunday gatherings, and space to connect throughout the week.

An after-school Bible study at Spring Branch Middle School where students learn to read the Bible, live what it says, and boldly share its message with others.

We provide food and clothing, pray with people experiencing homelessness around San Antonio, and share the hope of Jesus while meeting practical needs.
